Von is leading the challenges this month at Just for Fun, and is taking is back in time starting this week with a revisit to her youth. Well a lot of our youth as our first stop is the '60's and '70's. Flower power, youth fashion, colour oh the memories come flooding back.
After a lot of soul searching I opted for a bit of Pop Art and a reminder of Flower Power. Lots of bright bold colours, all Pro Markers, repeated in different combinations. The stamp 'Hippie Flower' from Limited Editions rotated 1/4 for each square.
Do you have memories of the period or perhaps you have seen pictures and heard stories. We would love to see your 60's/70's projects. Von and Neet have each made a sample reflecting the variety of ideas from that time. Pop over to Just for Fun to see them.
I've just realised that Moving along with the times have a similar challenge running and so am sharing this with them.

ReplyDeleteThis takes me back to my art student times when I loved the paintings of Warhol and such like. Also to the times I wore a flower in my hair and sang along to the songs of the time. Oh the thoughts of those heady days of summer you have awoke in my mind. Neet xx
