No flies on you

On the news this week there was an item about science's latest theory on the mystery of a Zebra's stripes.   This time 'they' put some horse models in a field painted in various horsey colours including the famous stripes.   The models were sticky and after a period of time the number of horse flies stuck to them were counted.   The zebra coloured model had the fewest flies.   New(?) theory zebra's used to be back and developed white strips to stop the horse flies.   This theory begs a lot of questions will have to find the scientist's  and send them an email!

In the mean time the idea provided the inspiration for a response to this week's Less is More.   Chrissie and Mandi have set the challenge of one layer cards with stripes.   A Dreamweaver stencil and DI in Black soot.   A small dragon fly (no stamps of horse flies in my stash) and the words 'no flies on you' both stamped in DI Barn Door.

The colour scheme was directed by Annabelle Stamps colour challenge of Red Black and White.  The two challenges blended perfectly.
Yesterday morning at 8:00 yours truly was driving to work past snow covered fields.  The early sun was veiled by a thin layer of cloud, another photo moment.   Goodness only knows what fellow road users think of this dotty woman struggling over lumpy snow covered ground at that time of day!

OK got to go and collect something from the post office.
