Blimey it is certainly Spring here in the UK, a glorious week-end and a week of damp misty mornings. Being back in an office I'm glad of the longer daylight hours and getting to see daylight at each end of the day.
The last couple of evenings I've been bring the season indoors and enjoying green. I do love the cool colours especially green in all it's many magnificent shades. So this Watercolour board (A4 size) is a celebration of it. 13 or so years ago at a gardeners show there was some amazing art on display a garden or part of a garden from an insects point of view. Completely blew me away I spent ages just looking at this painting and admiring everything about it.
This is a pale attempt at a similar idea just looking in at all the life in variety with more out of focus than in. Nick Bantock inks used on the board first and then Glimmer mists. Lots and Lots of die cutting TH and Marinne finally some paper flowers also sprayed with GM. Had intended to do some stamping but in the end decided it was un-necessary on this.
I would like to share some green with
Allsorts - Say it with flowers
Suger Creek Hollow - Monochrome Green
The Hybrid Chick - Lucky Green
Scrapper's Delights - Luck of the Irish
Pile it on - St Patrick's and/or Shades of Green
Kaboodle Doodles - Show us some Green
Use it Tuesday - Green (from my older supplies Green Vellum, Green Glitter, Green Card, Glimmer Mists, in fact only the Marianne die and a couple of the paper flowers are less than 6 months old)
Paint time Tuesday's - Monochrome
Whimsical Wednesday's - Green
