Had a little play yesterday, spent a lot of the week-end working on a commission piece have to live with that for a few days now to see it if works or not.
With that at least started I felt free to just get green again. This panel is corrugated card scored on the diagonal allowing one half to be stripped while the other remains covered. An old clocking in card stuck to the panel. Over that some patterned vellum fussy cut from a 12 x 12 sheet. Next some stamping the Time collage stamped onto cream mount board in Green and then another play with the new dusters and some DI. The floral skull stamped with Ancient Page ink and then coloured with Whisper pens to knock back the stark white. Three Mother of Pearl buttons attached on the other side an eye glass and a clock face charm add interest.
Fundamentally this is a green and kraft reflection on the passage of time. It is also my entry to
Allsorts - Three in a row

ReplyDeleteHi Zoe...gee I really like the contrast of the fussy cut vellum over the corrugated card...it is a great effect! Seeing through the vellum really does make it look like you are going back in time I think.
