Distressed Shabby Chic

The week-end has started, and it is most welcome.  Been a long week both with work and maybe being just a little under the weather, well it has been very wet this week!

To start the week-end popped over to The Stamp Man Challenge to discover that this time Brenda is challenging us.  No surprise then that the theme is Shabby Chic or distressed style.   Discovering that I quite like the style even to the extent of Pink! yikes!

Little budget priced notebook from Tesco has a cheerful new front cover.   Water colour paper torn on one edge and deckle edge trimmed to size coloured with DI.   La Blanch flowers stamped onto the Paper and also onto some un-coloured paper with Aged Mahogany.   The un-coloured flowers trimmed and coloured with Aqua Markers and Whisper Pens.    Vellum stamped in white with a fan design fussy cut to sit behind the equally fussy cut Stampendous Cling Rose Corset.   A little lace trim. and some fibers threaded through the spiral binder.   Finishing touches Sakura Glitter pens and three quite large gems.
