Happy Easter. Seems we had traditional Bank Holiday weather today, still there are 3 more days to go. It has been good crafting weather.
It just happens that I enjoy working with vellum and so when today's challenge at The Stamp man was announced the fun began. Been an age since my last paper pierced/embossed piece, it can be very therapeutic just pushing the needle through the paper. A watercolour board partly covered with dark paper and the decorated vellum attached over it. The naked board brushed with colour to knock back the stark white. Some glittered Vellum die cut with a memory box die eventually this was attached over the coloured paper and vellum.
A dragonfly stamp used as a template for bits of recycled plastic. The green, blue and whitish pieces are the sort used for reinforced packing smooth on one side corrugated on the other. At the Harrogate show recently treated myself to some Moonglow Starburst sprays three of these were used to colour the paper flowers. Little chunks of plastic used for the center's and dotted over the vellum diecut.
A little different perhaps but I'm quite pleased with the Dragon fly!
