Craft-Room Challenge 1st Birthday

Gosh Craft-Room Challenge is a year old!  Such a year so many people following and sharing their terrific art work with us.   And the team, what a fabulous group they are to work with, they and you have made it not just a popular challenge but great fun.

Thank you  Mervi ,  Hazel ,  Esther ,  Nikki ,  Debi ,  Maria,   Suzanne  and  Julia .

Now we could not let the occasion pass without a celebration and that means a blog hop with lots of prizes.  Like all such events the rules are simple, our hop has a little twist instead of looking for a letter at each stop there will be a very easy to answer question.    Remember do not leave the answer

What is your FAVOURITE paper-crafting technique? 

We have a challenge for you as well!   Julia thought there could be only one theme 'Birthday' so over to you make anything you like so long as it has the word Birthday on it somewhere.   Our Sponsor for the challenge is Julia, we started supported and sponsored by Julia who during the year closed the shop but she still has a few goodies tucked away.

You would think wouldn't you that with a question like What is your FAVOURITE paper-crafting technique? I would have used mine for my sample.   Not sure it is my favourite but it is certainly one of them.   Embossing past pushed through a Sweet Poppy stencil and left to dry for a day.   The stencil was then laid back over the image and gilding glue dabbed through it.  Stencil removed and washed, gilding flakes cover the image.   The background is an old one made with shaving foam, and yes the greeting is a peel off one.
