Craft-Room Challenge, Using Fabric

The Craft-Room Challenge team all love embossing so seeing so many entries last time was a real treat.  Mind you Esther has her job cut out for her selecting a top 3!

This time it's Maria who has selected our challenge.  I met Maria last Saturday at Port Sunlight a delightful girl who shops til she drops which is about an hour after everyone else!  We had a great time, thanks Maz.  Anyway back to the plot Maria's challenge to us is to use fabric of some sort in some way in our projects.

I've mentioned previously a book/picture journal that's on the go.   This is the back cover,  Satin fabric stamped with Adirondak dye based inks.   The fabric then glued to some mount board used for the cover.   A dragonfly and butterfly stamped onto tissue and added to the  cover with Modge Podge.   I love the washed effect the glues created with the dye based ink.

Once more we have a terrific sponsor for our challenge, Indigo Blu a stamp company who have made a heck of a mark in our craft world recently.  As a great fan of Indigo Blu I'm already just a tad jealous of the lucky winner.
