Best of British or Canadian thinking of Patriotic American and the French, it's all Red, White and Blue

If you are visiting the Craft Barn this week-end lookout for Di and Karen who are womaning the Tando Stand.    Lots of new goodies to see and some old favourites, Di asked us all to make up Red White and Blue themed projects for the stand.  Well this is a very special year for the Island of Great Briton with lots to celebrate.    Here are the Button Cards I've contributed.

Buttons coated with EP on plain board and board first painted with Gesso.   The Jack is Indigo Blue over a no wrinkle distress coloured card

Buttons coloured with Viva paint stamped with glue and gilding flakes applied.   This time I "drew" the Jack and coloured it with ProMarkers

Buttons covered with paper napkin.   Smaller Indigo blu Jacks coloured on the rubber with Whisper pens, masked and over stamped with a Hero Arts London Print collage stamp.

Buttons coloured with Dye ink pads, some embossed with an embossing folder and touched with gilding wax.  That Indigo Blu Jack again (It is the best Union Jack Stamp I've seen anywhere) again with colour applied to the rubber.   Bus and Big Ben from a Papermaina 'Urban' set.

We had a host of British Red, White, and Blue challenges at the beginning of the month, now it is the season of North American Red, White, and Blue or is it French Rouge, Blanc et Bleu.   Hopefully these challenge's will not mind a British themed entry!

Feeling a bit patriotic ATM....watched a load of Olympian rowers row the Gloriana down the Henley course today and Sarah and Em (Sarah's rowing partner) got their photos taken with Sir Steven Redgrave! Just hoping that he will come ToStourports regatta like last year, perhaps he could give them some tips!!!
