As Shar might say LOL
It was Summer here today although I think we revert to rain again tomorrow. Still its always nice to get the washing on the line, if chores kept me indoors before it got to hot to go out LOL. And I missed the Archers! which was supposed to be especially exciting this week.
When the Less is More challenge was set this week Rogue Redhead Designs Milliners Girls sprang to mind. The Challenge is a one layer card (aren't all CAS cards on layer?) with a theme of 3. 3 Images or Stamps, 3 Colours 3's of anything and or the number 3. The girls have been coloured with Whisper pens the same 3 colours used to scribble 3 lines around the corner.
Then it was time to get a little messy. This time the Rogue Redhead Designs challenge is Distressed Greens. Now Green happens to be my favourite colour so this had to be done. The photo has dulled down some of the greens but not the Washi tape! Adirondack inks added with Ink Dusters, DI's sponged on in the traditional manner. The girl reading in the garden is of course a Rogue Redhead Design, stamped onto a die cut square.
In the stationers the other day I discovered Pritt Stick in Green, and it dries green. Used it here top and bottom and sprinkled glass chips over it at the bottom and a few more at the top. DI added next resisted by the Pritt Stick glue adding a new effect to the distressing.
