Gosh this fortnight has come around quickly, had last week off work and spent some time exploring the area. So much to see and gorgeous scenery making some very inspiring driving. Back to work on Monday so happy to have a job to go back to.
Back to the Craft-Room Challenge, and it's my turn to tease your creativity. Not so long ago Oriental was all the rage, understandably there are so many beautiful images especially Japanese which are so graceful. So Oriental it is please, our sponsor this time is Tanda Stamps and of course it is their stamp's I used for this clock.
Chipboard Art Deco clock blank painted with black gesso. The Geisha's stamped onto card heat embossed with gold then coloured with Promarkers. The images at the bottom of the design stamped directly onto the clock face with Versamark to which Perfect Pearls was applied. The edges of the chipboard were inked and more gold ep used. When everything was in place the piece was sprayed with Iridescent Spray and Sparkle, hence the flare on the picture. I took the clock outside to photograph in the morning but still could not avoid that, sorry.
I'm pretty sure you have some lovely oriental themed stamps and embellishments tucked away please be tempted to get them out and join us. At the least please visit the team they are all so talented and have produced wonderful inspirational samples just to encourage you, they are all on show at Craft-Room Challenge
