Add an ATC - Unruly PaperArts RAQ

Another month, another month of great inspiration at Unruly PaperArts.   March is focused on ATC's those little calling card sized works of art.   As always there are two Readers Art Quests for you to join in, and we love having you join in you get to select the winners as well.

One of these is to add an ATC simple yes just create your own little 2.5" x 3.5" work of art and attach it to anything else.  

Been an age since I last made an ATC but that is one of the joys of RAQ's and other challenges, they remind us of technique's and styles we have been neglecting!  And sometimes open new avenues of creativity.

For my project I used Graphic 45 card, from their calendar pad.   February was sacrificed and April provided the base card.    With a blank ATC and Brown Memento ink a very detailed Aries image was stamped and coloured with a mixture of coloured pens.   A few Aries facts have been jotted on the back.   Not quite the usual back to an ATC but is this is part of a card the idea was to add interest.    April's card stock simply folded in half, one of the flourishes from February fussy cat and attached at the edges to make a pocket for the ATC.     The sentiment from Dimension  Forth (I think) also stamped in brown.

Inside the months motif gives a beautiful spring fresh feel.   This is echoed by the stamped snowdrops, a little late for snowdrops really but they are one of my favourite flowers so it had to be done.   These were coloured with Sakura pens.   Happy Birthday is an old Hot off the Press stamp, nothing else needed.
