Unruly Shabby Chic

Remember the harp stamp from Port Sunlight, here it is again.   I was not scheduled to make a sample for this months Pink and Brown Shabby Chic RAQ at Unruly Paperarts but with a set of door hangers and that fabulous stamp I simply had to.

The white door hanger was given a coat of pink DI with a floral mask in place, the mask removed and a lighter shade of pink dusted over the whole.   All the stamping was done with brown ink, coloured with various pink and brown mediums.   Some lovely brown lace, paper flowers and some of the floral strip again coloured with different mediums.   Pink is never an easy colour for me but I'm thrilled with the end result which now hangs proudly on one of my bedroom doors.

In the Pink - Anything goes so long as it has lots of pink
