Now what does a gal do during the 2nd week of her annual leave when coming home each evening and it's hot? Easy, she starts a new new listing of challenge sites! With the help of some good friends that is just what Ive been doing in case you wondered why things have been a little quiet.
Yes I know there is a good list published every day already, for reason's I'll not bore you with I decided to leave the team and a - finding that I missed looking at the challenges and b - going back to just keeping my own record. It seemed to make sense to open another list and share it with anyone else who wants to use it.
So if you have a challenge and we have missed you off our lists or if we have made a mistake please leave us a comment at Challenges for Days so we can pt it right.
Well any site has to have a banner, right? So the final task this week-end (apart from one more list that is) was to craft one for the site, and here it is.

The hanger is an MDF item that I've coloured with Distress stain and them stamped directly onto it with Adirondack Expresso and Distress Stain Picket Post. An Imagination Crafts Mask provided the beach huts. The stamped images have also been coloured with Whisper Pens. Two metal charms added the winged heart and a butterfly, silicone glue was used and while wet fine glitter was sprinkled over especially over the butterfly. The large orange flower on the right is hand made, 2 stamped flowers cut out and coloured the smaller one layered over the larger one. A piece of Mica and some more (shop brought) paper flowers topped it off. Orange organza ribbon tied at each end in a bow made it into a real hanger.
Then came the hard part editing the photo on my new mac and Pixelmator software. So the new site now has a logo. No badge yet and i'm back to work tomorrow but there will be one. In the mean time I thought I'd share my crafty creation with a couple of challenges, and they are:
A Gem of a Challenge - Anything but square
Hiding in my Craft Room - Freestyle
Ali-Craft - Butterflies
Bloggers - Things with Wings
Brown Sugar - Anything goes
Crafts 4 Eternity - Inky Fingers
Inspire me Fridays - Always anything goes
Totally Papercrafts - Make your own Flowers
Simply Create too - Anything but a Card
OK before I go square eyed I'll leave it there. If you would like to visit Challenges for Days please do and take a moment to let us know what you think.
