Hi, how are you on this wet and windy Monday evening. Not so good here, gall bladder kicked off this morning so its been a day of trying not to turn into a sprit level! Hoping for a good nights sleep and back to normal in the morning. Anyway I've got a couple of cards I'd like to share with you all this evening.
You might know that our challenge this fortnight at Craft-Room Challenge is themed Our Feathered Friends. Birds and nature make lovely images, I wanted to have an autumn project so this little tit a full time resident of the island is a good starting point.
The colours were kept pastel using ink dusters and Adirondack dye based inks. The flying birds and flora were stamped in shades of brown and green. Little orange berries and shadow lines added in yellow. The main image is all whisper pens applied directly to the stamp.
Our challenge has another week to run and there is a fabulous Crafty Individuals prize to one lucky winner drawn at random.
I'm sharing this card with
Ooh La La - Things with Wings
Designed to Color - Use a Die (spellbinder fancy edge)
Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes
And then there is this card, made with Rogue Redhead Designs challenge in mind, Diecut Divas is the theme there.
For this A frame card I stamped a background with on of RRD's back ground stamps and then distressed it with various inks and those ink dusters, they are never far from my work surface. Marianne heart and snowflake die set used to cut the heart shape using some shabby chic style DPs. Over this some lace has been layered. RRD's girl in a hat stamped and coloured with ProMarkers sits on top of the heart with a die cut Eiffel Tower tucked behind her. Some ribbon flowers and netting as the first layer complete the shabby chic intentions of this card.
Beside Rogue Redhead, I'd like to share this with

A little bit Crafty - A little bit Shabby
Colour me Creative - Anything Goes

Lovely cards Zoe, I particularly love the sweet bird one. I hope you are feeling better in the morning, having lost my gall bladder a few years back I can totally sympathize with just how yukky you must be feeling if you have had a attack. Take Care xx
