Another lazy Sunday

This card started as a die I've been stroking for a while.   It is very intricate and I've been scared to use it in case it didn't work properly.   But it did and this wonderful peacock or is it a swan was cut perfectly.

Using Mown Lawn, Salty Sea and Peacock DI on a smooch mat, the die cut dragged across to give it a mottled effect even left a couple of white patches.
The black glossy card came next, but the black was too much directly behind the die cut.  Thank goodness for double sided sticky film.   A piece cut to size and the diecut attached and the film given a final neating.   Gliding flakes covered the exposed area of the film.  This topper attached to the black mat and in turn onto blue card.

I am so glad I decided to try the die out and am really really pleased with the result.

  6. The peacock is amazing and love the use of the gilding flakes, especially when some one else uses them as they dislike me and tend to escape to any area other than than the one I intend.
