Tuesday morning once again the start of a new Craft-Room challenge. Before we get to that want to let you know that the team will soon have an announcement on our new team members, I know, I know but working in the virtual world can be slow sometimes!
We are all a bit thin on the ground at the moment with family issues and failing laptops. Your support for us stalwart roomies who are doing extra duty will be greatly appreciated.
Our theme this time is hosted by Hazel, who has stepped up to cover Julia's absence. Hazel's theme is Our Feathered Friends always a delightful subject, thank you Hazel.
I brought this dove stencil at a craft show earlier this year. Love the image so pretty and peaceful. For my card the stencil was taped over card and coloured with Whisper Pens. Imaginations Crafts Diamond Sparkle Medium was then spread over the stencil. Once the paste was dry another mask over laid, this one has 2 feathers on the edges the rest being jagged. Using Adirondack inks and ink dusters layering and blending colour to frame the birds. A little bobble ribbon placed over the branch just adds dimension and movement. When the occasion for this card comes I'll know and might add a sentiment.
