Late Spring Early Summer 2014

Happy Christmas everyone, have you had a wonderful time so far?    Did you get things on your wish list?   The IMPs and I had a lovely quiet lazy day with more of the same today.   The calendar has now been completed and the picture quality improved.   Here are the pages for May and June.

May is purple filled with butterflies.   The main butterfly has been stamped onto tissue paper and carefully cut out.

June is just plain hot.   Well that's what we all hope for isn't it!

For the back ground here I used a cut down page of DCWV paper cutting slots to fit the calendar slip into.   Might just be getting better at using DPs.    The stamped flower around the edges is La Blanche.   Lots of hot Adirondak inks blended over and then lifted off the petals of the stamped roses with a water brush.

We are taking a break at Craft-Room and Challenges for Days but impressively other challenges are carrying on over the holidays.    Thank you very much to those teams your dedication is very much appreciated.
