Craft-Room - Colour

We are promised a bit of a break from the weather this week, lets hope so.   For those effected by floods it is going to be a very long time before they get their homes back a very hard time for them.    Friends in America have also been suffering can only hope the snow stops for them.

It's time now for a new challenge at Craft-Room Challenge.   Our 2nd new teamie, Amber, has chosen the theme this time and it's another great one a colour theme.    Bright cheerful inspiring colours that will work for any style.

Aren't these colours full of the joy of spring I thought so they really excited me and lit up the inspiration area of my brain.

Knowing where to start was the hardest for me, lit up and excited the search was on for the perfect image/project.    The stamp I chose is a wood mounted Stampendous stamp that just cried out to be layered.   The Image was stamped onto white card which was then given the distress treatment with Old Paper and Tattered Rose.   Stampendous shabby ep applied over glue pen lines edging the image and stamped flourishes.    The main image tamped twice onto more card and then carefully/fussy cut out, fortunately I have quite a good collection of ProMarkers so matching the colours was not to difficult.   As this is a vintage image ivory was used on the doily below the red rose a little more shabby ep added on top.
