Goodness it's that time again, a new challenge at The Craft-Room. This is Suzanne's theme but unfortunately life has been dealing Suzanne a rotten hand recently causing her to step down from the team. Needless to say we are very sad and feel for her, if you read this Suzanne we all hope things improve for you soon.
Suzanne had already chosen the theme of Transport and we have decided to run with it. This time the top 3 will be a team selection.
I have gone with a monochrome pallet for this card which is all abut bicycles. The stamp is from our Sponsor Crafty Individuals stamped in Sepia onto cream card, the card has a sheen which did not photograph well. The base card is Kraft with ruled lines. Cream paper hand embossed with a Special Touch mask and then touched over with an ink pad. Over this the main image and a Kraft tag with a Penny Farthing charm attached, the string from the tag fed through the centre wheel of the die cut Penny Farthing. Some chipboard cogs coloured brown and given a coat of Crackle Accents. The scallops are cut down from some old fabric trim.
There are, as usual, great samples from the team all of whom always put me to shame I am so lucky working with them. Our sponsor, Crafty Individuals, is providing a wonderful prize for one lucky person drawn are random, so what are you waiting for? Your transport can be anything from Bikes, to Boats, to Trains and Hot Air Balloons.
There are a couple of other challenges that this qualifies for and so I'm sharing with them.
Incy Wincy - Monochromatic
Cheerful Stamp Pad - Modes of Transportation.
