Play time continued yesterday with this DL card. The inspiration for this came from CAS-ual Fridays (three thirds) and Less is More (three colours or three shades of one colour).
Having cut a piece of A4 card down to DL size the off cut used for my newest Crafty Individuals stamp, those pretty little birds on vine. Stamped this in Versafine Olympia Green, thats the first green and the first technique. Recently someone posted about using embossing folders with a rolling pin, working this way you can vary the pressure and placement of the embossing. I am so sorry I cannot remember who or where but want to give this person full credit for a brilliant idea. Not having a rolling pin I used a wooden pestle applying more pressure to the edges but working over the whole piece of card, thats technique 2. Next on the base card using a Dylusions stencil, Inkylicious dusters and DI Peeled paint a border was created the ink applied more heavily nearer the bottom than the top, technique 3 colour green 2. The sentiment stamped in the same versa fine ink and this ink also used to mark the edges of the topper. Finally 3 self adhesive pearls, 3rd colour of green. I like Green.
It is not so sunny today, not sure how I'll use the day but am confident something will suggest it's self.
