And another little project

Well I'm back at work now, how quickly you slot back in and feel as if you never went away!

A little something I'd been playing with for the last few days of my annual leave, I've actually given this one a name 'Timeless'.

The pocket watch shop is an MDF base 8" across and 10.5" in length.   The shape has been covered with Do-Crafts tissue the one with writing and roses.   The roses were coloured in with yellow ProMarkers.   The back panel is metal hand embossed with my favourite Sizzix plate 'Floral bouquet', I really enjoy hand embossing metal guess it is the same as rubber stamping gets you in touch with the project so you are not just manufacturing it but building a deeper feeling/relationship with it.   I know crafters will understand what I mean by that.

So wood covered, metal in place Viva Croco next in Turquoise and Copper and left to dry.    La Blanche stamps used directly onto the rim and onto card at this point just the dragonflies and orange flowers from the same set.   These were coloured in with Do-Crafts felt pens and Sakura glitter pens for the insects.   Images fussy cut and secured with silicone so they stand proud.   ProMarker pens used on the raised metal design.   Three die cut cogs left on my work surface for ages coloured black.   Still feeling it lacked something I looked at various ways to complete the project and finally decided on another La Blanche stamp from a different set.   This time coloured with ProMarkers and the blending pen used to add some highlights.  I used yellow and a turquoise shade to echo colours already used in the project.

Although made as a personal project and creative outlet I'd still like to share this with.
