Red, Orange, Yellow

That' the current colour challenge at Inkspirational currently.  It appealed to me when it started last week but I was not sure I'd get to it.   A bank holiday gave me the time needed to play a little.

The result this little altered carry tin.   Remember Paper Mill? they used to sell all sorts of chipboard sets in these great little carry tins, this one held letters.   Yesterday I was going to use a few and transferred the rest to another tin.   In the end the letters did not get used still there was this great empty tin.    Alcohol Inks Sunshine Yellow, Sunset Orange and Red Pepper worked all over the tin.   Orange ribbon wrapped around the handle.

The front cover is from a Tando creative set, the base worked with yellow and red inks.   The sun stamp (well what other image would go with this) is an old one purchased from ebay inked with gold and covered with gold ep.  The frame worked with Orange inks and then embellished with Orange, Red and Yellow gems.

Result a great hot new storage box.

Beside Inkspirational I'm sharing this with

Well the long week-end is over and the promise of Autumn is with us.   All being well this was the last Bank Holiday I'll spend in this house.

  1. Absolutely gorgeous Zoe. What a lot of patience it must have taken to position those gems so accurately around the inner rim of the frame! I'm sure if I was doing it I'd get to the last one and find there was too much or too little space left and have to start all over again

  5. Indeed I do remember the Papermill Zoe and how I miss their shops, ordering on line just isn't the same and you lose all the touchy feely part which is so important.

A fabby piece of artwork and perfect colours for the theme, thanks so much for joining in my Sunshiny theme at Allsorts this week.
