It's spring and has been on the whole a pleasant long week-end here on the Humberside. Not that i have ventured very far, just enjoyed doing not a lot here at home. Into jewellery making at the moment but have been in something of a creative lull, think it was the long dark winter days that did for it. Surfacing now just maybe a bit rusty.
Got into the craft room today, covered both Friday's and Saturday's lists at Challenges for Days last week lots of inspiration there.
Here is today's output, so far!
Staying with Penny black stamps this rose from the brush strokes range has been stamped in black Archival. Stuck to a black mat and then onto A5 card. Not wanting the card to be to much of a sympathy card the word Hope was added in red.
This and the postcard above were both created with Less is More where the requirement this week is Predominantly Black. They also both qualify (I think) for Left of Centre's Monochrome challenge.
Back to postcard format and a stamp that has been part of the collection for years, but not been inked that often. Today it struck me that it would sit perfectly on a postcard and allow me to play with the Chameleon pens. This postcard is all about Spring, so one for Just us Girls.

The 4" x 6" postcard format is one I've played with before and like, for rubber stamping it is a nice size. This Penny black image stamped in black Memento and gently 'coloured' with shades of cool grey Promarkers. The pop of yellow is Promaker Canary.
