Brothers Birthday Card

Oh yes it's that time of year again, Neil gets to be another year older at the end of the month, time to make him a new card.

Not the best picture sorry its the naff evening light.  If I get a chance in the morning I'll take another picture and change it tomorrow evening.

This card has been in the making since the week-end that is an eternity for me.  I knew that the stencil work would be a feature both with inks and embossing paste.   The greeting was quickly found, but the image oh my.   It could not be too intrusive but did need to hold its own on the overall card, this Clarity stamp seems just right.   And a new technique for me paper piecing, he deserves a good blanket.  By the way the greeting is from Rogue Redhead Designs, Shar is having a clearance so there are some really good bargains to be grabbed.

Colours used are Ginger and Willow Adirondack, Bamboo Memento for the greeting and Vintage Photo for the stamp.   The DP is green paper with green and orange dots.   Neil is a pretty straight forward chap and I think he will like this.

I'm also sharing this with
