I do love the autumn colours

It is that time of year, leaves turn brown and fall to the ground, some years it is dry so they become blown together in crisp piles and I still enjoy jumping and scuffing in those.   This year it is a wet autumn, perhaps the colours are less vivid but it still heralds the coming of winter, which in turns promises a new year and the new birth of spring.

This then is my homage to autumn this year.  The stamps here are Penny Black, the topper stamped in Memento and coloured with Promarkers.   Golds yellows oranges browns and reds with touches of green/grey green.   The edges cut with a deckle cut blade have been touched over with Adirondack denim blue.  The faded stalks along the bottom were stamped in Adirondack butterscotch.
