Twofers - Flowers

Good Morning, I am so embarrassed, work has been taking so much of my time recently that I completely forgot to set the new challenge up!!!  I am leaving my job next week, after three and a half years it is time to acknowledge that I am not suited to the role.  It has been a fun time and i have learnt a lot but it has also been very frustrating and the person I am most frustrated with is myself.   Basic routine and repetitive tasks bore me and I do not do them well, having to deal with that in a dynamic ever changing environment with systems that cannot be relied on so everything little thing has to be checked has resulted in me making more and more mistakes.   I do not think that these mistakes were all my 'fault' but in so far as they were mine I have to take responsibility and go.

Enough life goes on, back to the fun things and the Twofers challenge

So better late than never here is our new challenges Flowers.

With everyone's focus now and Christmas I wanted to give you a theme that could be used for Christmas or if you prefer give you a break from all the seasonal madness.  Flowers seemed an obvious choice.

We are of course offering a prize of $20 from our ever generous sponsor Alleystamp

My sample is once again a pair of playing cards, the pack in growing and becoming both interesting and challenging.  Always both Onions and Paper (Jane) and Christi have provided gorgeous samples to inspire you, here are our Flowers

The main image spread over both playing cards is an old Tanda stamp, I love images of the Poinsettia and used it here knowing that the red display is that of leaf not flower but we tend to use it and think of it in the same way as we do flowers.  The little flower images are from an old Stamping up set, I've drawn the little club symbols in the middle of the stamped images.

Yep just a little mistake in the making of the 8 basically it is upside down, but that only shows if you want to put the two playing cards together.

Fancy a break from all the Christmas fuss, come and join us at Twofers.
