A Little Bird told me

Yesterday was a good day although perhaps not in the way you might imagine.   Went to London to see Mark, we had thought of walking round an outdoor market but first Mark wanted to cut his hair.   So we went to the barber where I had a Danish and coffee and him a hair cut.   While we were there it started to rain and did not let up.   OK onto plan B The Natural History Museum, off we go with the help of the underground.   Still raining we discover the queue is enormous guess we were not the only ones with a Plan B.   Plan C the Science Museum, somehow we could not find it and there was another queue getting into the V&A.  So we abandoned all ideas and went to the get something to eat instead.   And had a really good chat.

So Saturday was a wash out even the Challenges for Days Saturday List had to wait until this morning.    Then the light started to go, but not before I came up with the idea for this card and put it together.

Had a good time playing with oldies as well.    The corner is brayered good old rubber brayer and the Waterfall Big and Juicy pad.   Next One of the embossing boards from the Glitter Girls and two wavy lines.   Checked my stamps and came to this old favourite,  a Penny Black bird on a branch from the brush strokes range.  Stamped in brown and coloured with ProMarkers, blues, greens, greys and beige.  The sentiment was made for me years ago part of a plate of sentiments they made up for me.
