Inky butterfly

Happy Easter!   What lovely day this is great start to the 4 day week-end, but still a little chilly.  Still washing on the line always a good feeling.

Here is a little card made last week-end and inspected by Harley.

Adirondack inks blended over the base card and spritzed with water.   Next Stamping' up background stamps randomly applied with different colour inks.    On some watercolour paper the Ken Oliver colour bursts were used for deeper richer colour.  My old mandala style butterfly stamped twice onto the paper and carefully cut out, the image was also applied to the base card and the cutouts layered over it.   Finally another favourite and much loved little butterfly stamped onto acetate and cut out, this is added to the card with glossy accents just on the insect's body.

I just love the inky random messiness of this card, which I would like to enter into the following challenges.
Fashionable Stamping - Butterflies
Penny Black and More - Feature a Creature
Hiding in my Craft Room - Blending
Morgan's Artworld - Anything with Wings
