It's a kinda Magik

Been busy, getting away from all the referendum fallout, and dressing up a Kraft covered ring binder.

This is the as yet unadorned back.

To start a mask was used middle front with orange green purple and black distress ink, around this more DI was added in the same colours.   The the ring binder was parked.

A magician stamp, Stamps Happen Inc, found in a bargain bin sometime past.   Coloured with ProMarkers the use of a blending pen and Sakura Glitter pen, then carefully fussy cut out.   A Tanda dragon given the same treatment,

A Tando arch was embossed with Dreamweaver paste and an Andy Skinner mask.   When the paste had set a Dreamweaver crackle paste.   When it was dry went to work with the inks specifically green and black.

Decided where all the elements would sit and added another stencil for a spurt of flame from the dragon.  Everything stuck in place, and some stone blocks indicated with black pen the flame was outlined in Sakura Glitter.

The whole given a coat of Decoupage glue to set and seal everything.   Then decided it needed a little more so pulled out a Tando border, coated it with gold ep and added a little Stampendous rust.  Glued it in place and scraped some black sand texture paste on.

Happy with the I added a little more colour, some metal letters and a liberal layer of Dream Weaver crackle paste.   Just in case you had not figured out what kind of book this will be.

So there it is in all it's glory ready for me to add magic touches and ideas on the inside.   I don't journal that seems far to organised and wordy for me but sometimes ideas deserve to be saved until the time is right.  I need a book of magiks to save these little gems in.
