Still thinking of the turmoil our world is in.

Increasingly troubled by international and domestic events I started a new blog, just for me really, Confused of Grimsby, to express and explore my thoughts on events.  If you would like to join me on the journey please do feel free to visit and comment.  I try to be open minded and listen to all points of view.

All sorts of things influence us in our art and craft endeavours and clearly events in France over the last year or so have made their mark.

An old kinda celtic/ethnic circle stamp and a favourite sentiment.   Blue version and then the red version, the white version stamped last and embossed with white ep.   Had thought it would stand in portrait format but realised it looks better in landscape.

The first challenge I'm entering this into is Less is More, with a bit of a rye smile.  2 weeks ago their theme of kitchen colours had me entering a playing card that had a time theme to it.   Last week their theme was time, I entered with a row of trees, that is the same tree stamped 4 times.   This week the challenge is Reparation!

Another challenge is Fantasy Stampers, must stamp but it does not have to be a fantasy style.  This time they are inviting CAS entries.

It is a lovely week-end going to try to get out and enjoy the sun now.   Enjoy your day.

  1. What a stunning card, and so meaningful, not just right now but any time. Right now, I think everyone is crying in the same language

  3. What a nice tribute to the events of this past week. It is just horrible to think what the families are going through---together at a day of celebration one moments...then the unthinkable. Thank you for creating this special card and sharing it at Less is More!
