Falling leaves

At this time of year these warm russets, Oranges, yellows and still some green.   Falling leaves and bare trees.  All around in craft land images portraying this time of year, some with pumpkins and witches and things.   The cycle is rolling down fruits of the year ending in a blast of colour, the leaves making a blanket for new life in the coming spring.

This I guess you would call it a journal page is a 6" square of Tando grey board.   Given  coating of gesso and then freely daubed with yellow, red, orca, and green.  Sometimes mixed, sometimes undiluted colour.   Two die cut mats (Leftovers from the frame used here the other day) the metal foil one covered with Alcohol inks from the same colour families blended with blending solution and then more inks dropped on top.   The White die cut dusted with various autumnal DI, Elusive Images bare tree stamped onto coloured mat, felt pens used to introduce leaves.   Looking through things I came across a leaf die set with paper and vellum leaves cut.   Decoupage glue holds it all together.
