My hands are turquoise coloured

Very stylish with the forget me not blue spots left by my painting of the new garden gate.   Happy messy crafter or what?

The turquoise is because of this card, it's one of those useful to have any occasion cards.   Three challenges provided the inspiration for this

Less is More - Lilic and Turquoise
MFP - CAS, Birds
Addicted to CAS - Watercolour

The centre panel is good quality (50% cotton) watercolour paper.   Initially coloured with Spectrum Noir Liquid Watercolours which were then sprinkled with Brusho's.   Left to dry the colours were to dense especially the purple shades.   DecoArt tinting white lightly brushed over the top took the colours down to the shades and tones wanted, some grains of salt sprinkled over the wet paint added some additional interest.

The Eagle stamp is Stampendous from a couple of years ago.   Stamped in Stampin' up white, WOW pearlised White ep used to bring it out more.    Still not entirely satisfied the image outline traced with white pen.

I can almost feel the freezing winds swirling around the mountain tops looking at this really pleased with the final result.   Be interesting to know what you make of it.

  8. What a terrific background, so atmospheric and great for our colour challenge. Don't forget that we like white space, perhaps a little more than is left here.

  9. Vibrant, bold and super striking and fantastic use of our colour combo. As Anita says we do like to see a teensy bit more white space but I do love your dramatic card as it is Zoe, and thanks for sharing with us at Less is More. Sarah x
