When is a Dragon a Seahorse?

When it is a Sweet Poppy Stencil.

As in the one I've used on this wooden draw box.   The box was prepped with DecoArt chalk paint, DecoArt Crackle glaze and more chalk paint to make it crack.   When it was dry the stencil placed on top and dye based colour pushed through and black pen for the eye, on top of this a clear embossing glaze added.

The next day play time.   The two fish are from Bombshell stamps in America.   Stamped in red Memento then coloured with felt pens using belief it or Red and purple as well as pink!  DecoArt acrylics in Turquoise and White added touches and a mix of the two coloured the Dragon/Seahorse neck and jaw.

The draw part was prepped in the same way and then a strip of Imagination Crafts shimmer paint painted along the bottom.   Stamping' up shells stamped in grey and coloured with more felt pens.

Treasure Gold in Rose Quartz coloured touched onto corners and edges, along side this Imagination Crafts Alchemy Wax in Bronze was added.   The Bronze has also been rubbed over the Seahorse into the gaps between the stencil paste, colour was then taken off the actual embossed areas.

This is going to be the home of some of my pearl jewellery.    Thought I'd show this box off with:
