Enjoying the weather?

Gosh it has been almost 2 weeks since my last update.  Well things have been going on that kinda kept me out of the craft room.   A couple of weeks ago the surgery suggested that I could develop diabetes well I've been border line for 40 years but read up and decided to make a few changes.

Exercise to use up some of those calories.   I've got an apple watch with an ap that tells me how many calories I've used and so forth.  With the aid of that I've been working on my activity levels and keeping a bit of an eye on my diet.  Who knew it would be so time consuming.

Then the sun came out, well before then really I've been tidying up the garden.  It has been a bit neglected the last couple of years but hopefully this year I cannot it back to where I want it.

What else, I've got myself a little part time job and had some jewellery orders to sort out so all in all I've been a bit busy the last couple of weeks.   Here are a couple of new lines in the shop, both feature Emeralds May's birthstone.

I managed to have a little play the other day and again today.   Today's project is the July page of next years calendar.    Here it is.

Lots of lovely old stamps used here all of the at least over 6 years old.   Woodware punches for the circles which for this exercise are bubbles.  Butterfly filled bubbles rising up and drifting off on a warm evening breeze.   The background is a lovely old Hydrangea stamped repeatedly.  The white card dusted with blue Adirondak inks blue and cool peri.    The butterflies were stamped in Memento then coloured with Chameleon Pens.   The edges of the circles were then dusted with more Adirondak inks.

The bubbles idea came from Addicted to CAS their prompt this fortnight is Bubbles.
Inkspirational have a theme of Play.  I think those butterflies are playing in the breeze.
Colour Crazy Challenge is always anything goes with hand coloured work.

Hopefully I'll be back soon with something else to share.
