I hope you are all having a wonderful time with your Spring and Rebirth celebrations what ever form they may take. It is also the 1st of April otherwise known as Fools Day, doing a little research it seems that there are may options for the tradition of this day. One thing for sure it is a great excuse to make practical jokes to play on others
This is also Isabella's birthday. She has long since dealt with the idea that she might be an April Fool and rather relishes having a birthday on one of our significant dates. Her card for this year was blogged a couple of days ago. Today I can share the trinket box made for her from a truffle box.
Eclectic Ellapu, This challenge bears a close resemblance to Altered Eclectics but I've never really figured out the link.
A Inky Mess, Always good fun entering this challenge.
I haven't had any chocolate, yet. Time to put that right.

Lashings of Imagination Crafts metallic pink paint covered the box. Powertex and cotton scraps, cotton lace and paper flowers, the powertex also bonds the natural fibre elements to the base box. Once the powertex had dried the various flowers and lace were touched with gilding waxes. The top can be a tight fit and has to be gently encouraged off. Hopefully Izzy in her rush to see what was inside did not just yank it off but hay if she did it's all good.
Sharing this now with my favourite monthly altered art anything goes challenges.
