Bob's 3 month long 2 week stay is over, yesterday he went back to London to sort a couple of things out before heading off to the sun. There is an event catering business that he going to "sort out". The plan is that at the end of the season he and another person will take ownership of the business. So that's my holiday plans sorted then!
Time now for me to reclaim my home with a good tidy up. House work, not my thing really so I went for a walk. Little by little everything will go back to the way I like it.
Clearing out the fridge this appeared lurking at the back! Don't know why but I've never up cycled one of these cheese boxes before so today I put that right.

The roses are old sale items from Hobbycraft stash. You never know when these things will come in handy so I grab them when I see them. TH tissue tape the perfect for the edges of both the box and the lid. DP cut to fit the top of the lid glued in place and the glue also spread over the tissue tape edges. The roses were then stuck onto the lid. The butterflies are from my all time favourite butterfly stamp from Hobby Art, stamped in archival ink and coloured with felt pen. These were glued just along the body of the insect. For a final flourish 3 dots of glossy accents on the red rose as morning dew.
Another little trinket box, well can you ever have to many? I'm sharing this little alteration with:
