To go for walk or not?

Had a little battle with myself today, part of me wanted to go for a walk but it is still so hot that the other part of me didn't want to.  So spent time in the craft room debating what to do.   Not walking seems to have won out.  Not working tomorrow so perhaps I'll go for a wonder somewhere then.

While in the craft room I came across some thick card die cuts sent to me by a friend many years ago while I still lived in Hedge End.  Yes I've carried these bits of cardboard with me through 2 house moves, knowing they would be useful one day.

Door hanger from the MDF Man given a coat of chalk paint.  I am so in love with chalk paint it is so adaptable giving a great base to do all sorts of different things on.   Today it is just a base, background to the coloured card.   Each die cut has been coloured with ink or paint and then glued in place.    The ribbon on the floral side has been glued on along 3 flat sides, bows tied in same ribbon added on top.   Also dug out from eons old stash the paper flowers and sticky back pearls.

Sharing this with:

Try it on Tuesday - This time their theme is Stencils and/or Die Cuts.  My door hanger is all about die cuts.

The Cats Pajamas - Before my little crafting break some challenges did not seem "right" for me.  Coming back this year I've changed either in style or how I view things not sure which.  Anyway this is all because this is the first time I've entered this monthly challenge.  Their theme for May is Die Cuts.

Artistic Inspirations - The is a fortnightly challenge I've come to love, their regular theme is Anything Goes.

A Inky Mess - This challenge runs from the 25th of each month and is all about Mixed Media, (Anything goes).

Here on the east coast the forecast is for this weather to carry on for a few more days, getting cooler anyway a bit wet but mainly sunny.   Still to see if it will be cool enough for a walk tomorrow.
