It rained! and I got caught in it; bliss. Out on my bike just enjoying a cooler early evening almost at the half way mark of the planned ride and it rained. No point in turning round so I just carried on and basically just enjoyed getting wet.
Earlier I got round to making this card. The idea came from the Double D Challenges's latest theme "Tea and/or Coffee"

Earlier I got round to making this card. The idea came from the Double D Challenges's latest theme "Tea and/or Coffee"
The Teapot base is Craftwork Cards, they come as single layer blanks. Attached at the handle by ribbon this one opens from the left. There is a prop on the back of the cards supporting them when they stand upright.
The teacup and little swirl of steam is an old Kanban polymer stamp set, the tag is from the Cardcraft set and the sentiment is part of the Kanban set. The ribbons were from my extensive stash of ribbon. I really really must make a dent in these stash mountains! The other stamp set is from Stamping' up. The edges of the teapot have also been dusted with Scattered Straw to soften the whiteness of the cardstock.
Wondering if they are any more challenges who might like a refreshing cuppa I looked at the week's lists and sure enough found:
Get Creative Challenges - A monthly challenge with the theme of Shaped cards, no squares or rectangles.
The House That Stamps Built - Have a colour prompt, with blues, greens and scattered straw here this is in the spirit of that prompt.
Cardz 4 Galz - Food or Drink (week 2 of a fortnightly theme)
