Thanks for everything

As thoughts turn to mating and raising a new family in the spring so this years brood strike out on their own.  At least that is the thought behind this mixed media thank you card.

White base card (UK A5) edges dusted with Wild Honey distress ink.  Topper a sheet of Brown Glassine paper.   Tree is a stencil sprayed with adhesive and gold leaf applied.  Fox is a stamp with Stamp and Stick and then gold leaf added, the fox has been coloured with a warm brown Chameleon pen.  Finally the sentiment simply stamped with gold ink.

Overall result? well you decide.

More Mixed Media - Anything Goes with the option of Brown and thank you for making me one of your top picks last month.

International Art and Soul - #91 Include an Animal 3rd entry

Stamping Sensations - The great outdoors and thank you for making me one of your top 3/4 last month.

As you like it - Favourite Stencil and why.  For this technique (spray and add gilding flakes) this is the very best image it evokes Autumn with nothing more needed.

Well another week end, another GP so I probably will not see much of the craft room today! hay ho I will enjoy the race it is a new circuit and WOW one very long straight and lots of twisting corners.   Not you thing what ever you are into enjoy your day.  Stay Safe, Keep Well, Wear you Mask remember numbers are rising and we need to be careful, most of all HAVE FUN.

  1. Well I love Foxes (other than when Reynard comes hunting down our hens) as they are such beautiful creatures and along with that lovely tree and the echoes of gold it makes for a beautiful creation Zoe. I'm thinking that may be a Sweet Poppy stencil by Tray Dutton, it has her look about it, but of course I could be wrong.

Thanks so much for joining our Great Outdoors theme at Stamping Sensations challenge.
