Back to CAS

For someone who used to struggle with CAS cards it is quite a reversal now to see how easily they seem to come to me.  So yesterday I was able to have a little play with Izzy on speaker phone from time to time.

It is proving very tough for her to be forced to be alone in the flat when she has not yet had time to adjust to being on her own.  Yesterday she cracked on with work and met her targets but was very uncomfortable.   The advice she has now received is that provided she gets a negative test she can go back to work as they are all socially distanced there.  Now we just have to hope for a negative test.

As for me I made plans yesterday to go out for the day with a friend tomorrow, we will be masked and follow the rules.  So Brigg Garden Center here we come, the cafe there is really nice.

So the first of yesterdays burst of creativity, the second will be saved for another post.

Having rediscovered this invitation to coffee it demanded to be use again (and probably again and again!)  This time it seemed fun to try to use it as the steam coming from a cup of coffee, except coffee should never steam.  The little cup and saucer is yet another old and forgotten stamp that really deserves more ink.

Sentiment stamped at an angle in Archival ink Coffee.  Cup placed below sentiment angled slightly the other way in same ink and coloured with my Whisper Pens.   No idea who made either stamp but think they are both around 20 years old.

Challenges

AAA Cards - #175 CAS one layer theme COFFEE.

Well Izzy and I are already messaging, it is the only way I can support her from 300 miles away.  Have a great day.  Stay safe, Keep well, don't be like Izzy and her friends follow the rules, & still HAVE FUN.
