Party Season

Covid or not Christmas is coming, usually this would be the start of Party Season.  Probably not this year well not in the usual sense, guess there will be a lot of Zoom Parties.   So many things have been different this year this will just be something else.

Anyway this birthday card is what put me in mind of party season, well that and the flippin fireworks going off outside for the 5th or 6th night in a row!

My original idea was to use gold embossing paste on gold mirror card, but I've run out of gold paste so used Silver instead.  The stencil is Sweet Poppy.  Once the paste had been pushed through the stencil some Frantage Mica fragments and and gold crushed glass were sprinkled onto the wet paste.

While waiting for the embossed image to cure a piece of printed vellum was dug out and cut down with a fancy edge trimmer.   This was when the dotty pink ribbon was stamped with the sentiment "Happy Birthday".   Once the image was ready two slits were cut into it and the ribbon threaded through.
