It's good to be back in the Craft Room.

It is so nice to have a choice of challenges again!  Now the only problem is figuring out what to do with them all.  This is something that might suit one or two.

It has been a long time since I made an easel card which made it even more fun to do.   The die used is from a Tonic set for making boxes.  The backing is a piece of watercolour paper that has been coloured with Brushos.

Topper completed, it was attached to the pre folded base card.  Base card was then trimmed to sit behind the topper unseen.   I wanted to keep the base card fairly simple but decorative.  The sentiment "A true friend is someone who knows everything about you yet still likes you for who you are" stamped and "embossed" with stamp and stick Gilding flakes were applied to the melted glue.

A stampin' up set supplied the floral image which was coated with ink from felt pens before being pressed onto the card.  2 pink bows and 3 pink gems and we are good to go.
