Sharing today a couple of CAS cards made recently. The challenge for me with these is holding back and knowing when to stop enviably there is much more that could be done but the design would lose impact. Hopefully these two will speak for themselves.
Challenges in mind when this one finally came together;
The Flower Challenge - #52 Embossing Heat or Dry
Papercraft Challenges - #66 Heat or Dry Embossing
Addicted to Stamps and More - #396 Make your Mark
As you Like it - Favourite colour duo and Why. In Pastels Pink and Green are a delightful pairing, my favourite colour is Green. If you look on a colour wheel you will see the Greens are opposite the Reds and Pinks making these a perfect complementary due.
For this card I wanted an excuse to use my Kaleidacolor "Calypso" ink pad again. The DL card was carefully masked off so that just 1 6/16" would be marked. Ink applied to brayer and rolled across. The stamp is from an Australian company "Stamp-It" and is dated 2003, which is probably about the time I acquired it. Inked in black with clear ep over it to sharpen the image against the bright colours.
Challenges in mind for this one
Happy Little Stampers - CAS - Short and/or Tall
AAA - #181 Up to 1/3 Summer in January.
Watercooler Wednesday - #304 All About Occasions
Well I left some embossing paste drying time to go and see if it is set yet. As always Stay Safe, Keep Well, Wear the Mask, and HAVE FUN
Love the effect of the brayer in your rainbow DL card, it adds interest but remains CAS.
