Lace and Pearls?

A little while ago I thought I'd have a play with a fan shape from Tando.   It grew from there.

Pushed the inside pieces out then sprayed the remaining frame with Glimmer Mists.  Worked out the order of the inserts and painted them with white Gesso, a second coat stippled for added texture.   Blue and Yellow Brusho powders very lightly sprinkled on next and squirted with water.  Laid a Tando Stencil over the inserts and pushed structural paste through.  When that was dry the raised areas were painted with Pentel watercolour brushes.  These came from a Hobby store sale years ago but have hardly been used.  Shocking really as the colours are amazing.   Piece then set aside as it did not work for the idea in mind for it.

Then some time (weeks) later making a tag caught my fancy and an opportunity to play with another under used medium, Gelatos.  Scribbled 3 lines in 3 colours sprayed the tag with water and moved it around a bit with a brush.  Could not think what to do with after that, then shuffling things around on the table I un-earthed the Fan and the piece fell into place mentally.

Some Foam flower die cuts.  I have been wondering about stamping onto this foam and fussy cutting it so dug out a flower stamp inked it in red then stamped on set of flowers.  It worked and careful positioning  means they can be layered up with the lines matching up.  The second flower was not stamped, both were worked rolling the petals up.  Some die cut leaves also in formiran, one tucked behind the fan the other following the branch embossed on the fan.

Finishing touches, the letters spelling Adore punched out the other day, some pink lace discovered tucked into a tote and forgotten.  Finally I knotted a short strand of shell pearls, something else I should do more often.
