Recently discovered Crafters Foam (Formiran being the best known) and am enjoying a journey of discovery with it. Looking for more dies to use with it led me to Elizabeth Craft Dies and some new floral ones.
First Card a Z fold made as soon as the die arrived. It was made using printed vellum, and mulberry paper. There are 6 flower dies in the set and a leaf die which was used with thicker textured paper.
Of course stamping and colouring were also involved with the making of this card!
Challenges
Creative Fingers - #202 Always anything Goes
A Bit More Time to Craft Extra - Always Anything Goes
Love to Craft - Anything Goes
NBUS - #23 Anything Goes with never before used scruff. The flower die set.
Second card is a response Funky Junky Boutique Challenge, which this fortnight is "Mostly Neutrals"
An old Kanban rose image stamped in Archival Sepia onto ivory coloured hammered card stock. Ivory crafters foam die cut and moulded a little with ball end tools, the leaves were cut from the same paper as the one on the card above. Edges of them dusted Victorian Velvet DI. A strip of brown lace pleated and added before the flowers so the design is based around all the elements. Finally a little vintage style charm just looked right.
