This card is based on another of the folds I made the other day, well these have to be used up. Yes a double gate fold is an old fold and one I've used in the past but re-visiting older ideas is usually inspiring and invites using them with newer or different ideas.
The theme for this card came from some of the challenges that went live yesterday 1st February.
The stamps are all Penny Black, coloured with Chameleon Pens. The sentiment came from a magazine set. The flourish is one cut recently from Brusho coloured watercolour paper, it was to much for the project at the time so set it aside for another time, today. Edges of the card dusted with DI Stormy Sky.
This CAS fancy fold was created with the following in mind.
Country View Crafts - First Signs of Spring. Well round here it is the partnering up of birds, you can see them flying around and driving of rivals. Territories are being claimed/reclaimed and soon we will see nests being built.
