Day off today but still very hot and uncomfortable. Harley bless him likes to come into the garden with me when I'm getting some steps in. It is so hot that while he insists on being out there with me once in the garden he loos for bushes he can shelter under.
Not sure what he will do tomorrow as I have a busy day visiting 3 different supermarkets. Some of the time I'll be working with chilled products oh bliss.
Still managed to have a little play today and made a tag card.
The black base has been die cut with the TH die to create the folded card. The offset topper used the same die with Kraft card. It was the Kraft tag that I started with. A Tando cogs and gears stencil. This was dusted with Stormy Sky, Rusty Hinge, and Crushed Olive DI. Then clear embossing paste pushed through the stencil. When the paste was dry Aged Mahogany and
The Key and lock plate were also Die cut. The lock plate also dusted with Stormy Sky and a little Rusty Hinge. It was then stamped with a patten in grey. This was secured to the Kraft tag with two brads. The key dusted with just Rusty Hinge, lines drawn on with blue Sakura pen and then more Rusty Hinge applied.
The Light bulb is a laser cut that was part of a recent prize supplied by Boozy Bear. They are in Canada and see on Etsy, so worth checking them out if you have not heard of them before. I used a silver ink pad to colour it then scrapped a little of the same ink on the opening side of the card.
