I liked the Sprint to establish the grid for the British GP tomorrow it really added a lot. Extra risk of car damage which could impact on the actual GP, more racing and because it is short and quick the race was less spread around the track. Not so sure about the lap of honour in an open sided lorry for the top 3 who are interviewed along the way. Still got the excitement of the race to come tomorrow.
Also had another little play in the craft room
The aim was for a CAS card but also something feminine. Starting point the sentiment "With Love" inked with Perfect Medium and then dusted with Pastel Pink Perfect Pearls. Next the stencil from AALL and create with Worn Lipstick DI brushed over, I had intended to mask the sentiment before applying the stencil but forgot and then liked the effect when the stencil was removed. The final element was the Penny Black brush strokes single rose. Whisper pens used to colour the image and then the same pens applied over the stamped impression to make it stronger.
There were some challenges that definitely inspired this project.

Wow Zoe, this is stunning! I love the image and stenciling, Thanks for entering your design in the challenge at Krafty Chicks! Donna
ReplyDeleteI like your inspiration Zoe, real thinking outside the box and a really elegant feminine card at that, I so hope Lewis can pull it out of the bag on home soil. Might need to case the design for an upcoming Anniversary as I have all the products.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your beautiful creation with us at We Love Chocolate Baroque, Stamping Sensations and Allsorts challenges (I didn't think the timing of the latter two themes very well did I).

ReplyDeleteLovely. The background geometric background is an interesting counterpoint to the rose.
ReplyDeleteLove the pop of colour on the flower. And the stencil is amazing. Great CAS card fro the Krafty Chick Challenge.
