Inspiration Station 13

First Monday of the month, can you believe we are now into the last 1/3 of the year.  Some would say this is the most colourful time of year, here in the northern hemisphere it is Autumn with all those warm rich shades.  Mean while in the Southern hemisphere it is Spring and all the fresh bright delightful colours of new growth.

Our prompt this time at Inspiration Station is this road scene

Oh I did struggle with this and it took quite some time for the picture to take me anywhere in my imagination.   Those 2 yellow lines might have had something to do with that, for us Brits two yellow lines are used at the curb side to indicate no parking!

Anyway Left to its own devices, and with a bit of inspiration from the Funday Guest Designer piece it all eventually came together.

A plaque.  The base was coloured with different green sprays and then before they completely dried some Brushos sprinkled over is yellow and green then sprayed again this time with water.   While that was set to one side to dry I got some stamps out.   The forest "fruits" are an old Chocolate Baroque set "Nature Table".  Stamped coloured and fussy cut.  The bits of twig come from a potpourri, they were sprayed green to go here.  The leaves were made at the same time as those on the previous project.

Layout decided on I used an old Elusive Images set of Trees (the old A4 plate is not available at Chocolate Baroque but the trees are included in other sets.) Just stamped in brown onto the now dry background.  Over two of the leaves old wooden backed Hero Arts quote were added in the same brown.

So how does the Autumn Road scene strike you?  Perhaps you see a Thelma and Louise moment.   Or a bike scene out of Easy Rider?  We would love to see your take on it and my fellow teamies at Inspiration Station would love you to drop by and hi.
